Ramsbury FC record impressive 6-0 win against Swindon Centurions FC at the Recreation Ground
Ramsbury FC senior team scored 6 unopposed goals in a comprehensive home win against the Centurions to record their first win of the season.
It has been a tough season so far with key players out injured, a number of departures and a lot of new players still bedding in. It has been a struggle to get a strong team out and has required Sean the ever youthful coach having to play full matches at the ripe old age of 102! However, he is pure class and has demonstrated that age is no barrier to excellence!!!
Ramsbury finally showed what they are capable of with Max Derrick and Rob Pocock grabbing a goal each and Joe Long greedily scoring the other 4.
Brilliant result by a great bunch of lads!
Next game is a tough home match against top of the league and unbeaten Pewsey Vale FC Development this Saturday at the Rec.
