Ramsbury FC make hard work of their win against Moredon FC with a late penalty to take all 3 points!
Ramsbury FC laboured against a determined Moredon side and needed a late Rob Pocock penalty to seal the win and take all 3 points in the glorious sunshine.
Goals from Nathan Good back after his suspension and yet another goal from Joe Greenway after his brace against Marlborough Town Reserves the week before should have been enough, but Moredon dug deep whilst Ramsbury made hard work of things to make it likely a 2-2 draw. But a late penalty saved the day and saw Ramsbury gain 3 valuable points.
Well done to Chris Roberts the team Captain who was gaffer for the day as El Tel Sean Eviil was too busy travelling back from his villa in Spain to get to the match and (alledgedly) it was his del boy gold sovereign necklaces or excessive sun tan oil that held him up at airport security and made him miss his flight…..never mind El Tel Seano….the boys did you proud!!!
