Ramsbury FC win 3-2 against Blunsdon FC at the Ramsbury Recreation Ground that sees them move up to 5th in the league.
Ramsbury FC were 0-2 down at half time against an in form and tough Blunsdon FC side who comprehensively won the last time both teams played each other. It wasn’t looking good on a slow pitch and cold day with Ramsbury FC without a few key players and their coach Sean Eviil.
But a spirited second half saw Jas Walsh grab a fine brace of goals and Rob P smash in a worldy of free kick that Roberto Carlos would have been proud of (allegedly) to shock Blunsdon FC and grab all 3 points. A fantastic comeback win!
This was a superb result for Ramsbury FC who showed that they never give up and deserved the win after some poor recent matches against difficult opposition. It was a shame that Blunsdon FC were so unsporting in the defeat but this has been a theme this season for Ramsbury FC opposition which is a real shame. However, the official in todays game was very good and even took the time to let the club know that Ramsbury FC played as they should have and remained calm – this was excellent news as there have been recent matches where the games have been really poor due to unnecessary poor linesman not being fair and not been dealt with by the match official. .
In sum, this was a really good win with no incidents and all 3 points to Ramsbury FC. Great stuff!!!
