A completely dominant display by Ramsbury U12 Blues saw them win 8-0 against Purton U12s in a very one sided Cup match at the Ramsbury Recreation Centre.
However, Purton U12s are to commended for not giving up and their team and indeed their coaches were a genuine credit to their Club by being firm but fair and ensuring their players did their best and kept at it.
The Purton Coach who officiated the match due to the League being unable to provide one for the Cup match was exceptionally good and was everything that you would want in a good match official: completely fair to both sides, completely clear with his decisions and supportive to both teams. This must have been especially difficult when his team was up against it, but he did a superb job and, again, was a real credit to youth football and his club.
Well done the Blues and well done Purton for not giving up!
