Ramsbury FC lost 1-2 against a well organised and very physical Blunsdon FC side that saw them go to the top of the table!
A Nathan Good goal had seen Ramsbury FC equalize in a testy and physical first half that was fairly even, but was let down by some very lenient refereeing.
This was even worse in the second half as Ramsbury were dominating and a great ball saw them clearly through on goal when the last defender cynically hacked down Scotty and was only awarded a Yellow when it was obviously a straight Red. It changed the game and Blunsdon to their credit upped the temp and last free kick conceded in the 86th minute saw a quality strike make it 2-1.
It was a bitter blow for Ramsbury as they had looked the better side and should have scored a number of times in the second half. It was a really good performance by Ramsbury, but a poor result that cost them all 3 points.
Next is a reverse fixture at Blunsdon.
