Ramsbury FC want to grow their current men’s team squad and will have a trial and signing on event on Sat 9 July @ 1030 at the Ramsbury FC Recreation Ground SN82RB
The Club is well known for its ethos and wanting to play the game as it should be played and is very much a family orientated club with 10 youth teams and a men’s tream; great coaches and committee and a superb facilities that includes an all year floodlit all-weather Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) pitch used for 6 a side and training over the Winter months.
Subs are cheap compared to other clubs at £50 for the season and covers all training, insurance, strips and use of the Club facilities. There is an additional cost on match days to cover referee and other costs, but they are kept to the minimum.
The Recreation Ground is on the edge of the village, midway between Hungerford and Marlborough, and only 7 miles from Swindon and is easily accessed with parking available. Ramsbury FC Men’s Team play on Saturdays in the Swindon District League and have a long history of competitive grass roots football dating back to 1877 and yes this is our 135th birthday!
Finally, the Club has a great sponsor, Ergo Facilities Management, and this season a brand new strip has been provided. The men’s team has players from 17 to 47 and is looking to increase our core squad of 17 up to 25 to provide more squad depth and flexibility and to ensure that players do not have to play every match every week.
