Ramsbury FC U12s lost only their second game of the season against a determined Swindon Supermarine U12s side on a very sunny midweek evening.
Although Ramsbury opened the scoring with a very well worked goal, they struggled in the final third to get a vital second goal to put some daylight between them and a very dogged opposition.
Not converting the numerous chances they had cost Ramsbury as Swindon equalised to make it 1-1 after some solid defending and a good counter attack.
All even at half time it was Ramsbury who came out the stronger and went close a number of times. But Swindon dug in and scored a winner to make it 2-1 and grab the points.
A rare loss for Ramsbury U12s, but I am sure they will come back stronger from this minor setback. Well played both teams.
