Huge congratulations to Chris Allen for winning the Wiltshire FA Spirit of Grassroots Football Award for 2021.
Although Chris, who was a long term Treasurer and Youth Coach with Ramsbury FC, has now left the club and retired to Cornwall, he is remembered fondly and widely respected for all that he did for Ramsbury FC and across the Wiltshire grassroots community.
He certainly espoused the Ramsbury FC club ethos, that football should be fun, and was always keen to help others, take time to bring on players of all standards and encourage and support new coaches.
He without doubt deserves this Wiltshire FA award and also being unanimously voted as Ramsbury FC Coach of the Year for the 2020-2021 season.
